George H. Henderson Jr. Expo Center

Built in 1983, the George H. Henderson Jr. Exposition Center complex was contructed for $2 million and funded from  private contributions. It is located on a 36 acre tract.  When constructed it was the largest pre-engineered clear span building in the United States! It has been copied by many cities since its completion.

Since its construction, the Expo has continued to grow, adding additional parking for over 3,500 vehicles, twelve industrial size overhead fans in our arena keep our vistors comfortable. We also offer a 62,500 sq. ft. open air pavilion with 100'x150' arena.
